A Visitor for Will's April 6th Birthday

Will's birthday on April 6th marked the sixth family birthday celebration since the Gringa arrived in mid-January.

While Daniel's birth was awesome, Cecilia's Birthday was very special, and the Cozido was festive.   Then the party trend began to take a slight downward curve.  Life in Daniel Land necessitates simpler plans.  Cecilia made her sweetheart his favorite--Brasilian Carrot Cake.  It's a sheet cake that's full of fresh grated carrots that are then blended in a food processer for a smooth texture and delicious carrot flavor.  The cake is topped with a chocolate glaze.

Sometimes simpler is better, ya' know?  The song is still the same, no matter how many sing it.

At 8 weeks, Daniel helps Dad check out

that Mommy made.

"Steve Dad" was a special visitor for Will's party,
as were Helio and Dora.

Applause for 31 years
and wishes for a long life and much happiness.
